What happens when Aioli cannot connect
When you are offline, Aioli says so and keeps your saved recipes and shopping list available.

If your phone loses its connection, Aioli tells you instead of showing an empty screen. What you have already saved stays available.
What you will see
- A small You're offline message near the bottom-left of the screen while you are disconnected. A Back online message appears when you reconnect.
- If a screen cannot load, a message says what failed, with a Retry button and a note about what still works.
What still works offline
Recipes and lists already on your device stay visible, such as your saved recipes and shopping list. Anything that needs a live connection waits until you are back online, such as AI features, finding new recipes in Discover, and sending your list to Ocado.
If Aioli says you are offline but you are not
- Tap Retry.
- If the message stays, check that your phone has a working Wi-Fi or mobile connection.
- Still stuck? Open Profile and tap Contact Support.
