You can send a recipe from Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or most other apps straight into Aioli. Aioli reads the post, pulls out the ingredients and steps, and adds the recipe to your library.
Send a recipe from another app
- Open the post in Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or your browser.
- Tap Share, then choose Aioli from your share sheet.
- Wait while Aioli reads the recipe.
- Tap Save to My Recipes when it appears.
Search or paste a link inside Aioli
Open the Add Recipe screen and tap Web Search to search the web or paste a link. Pasting a caption that contains a recipe link works too, because Aioli pulls the link out for you.
If the recipe link is in a comment
Creators often put the recipe link in a Facebook comment. While you browse the post in Aioli, tap that link. Aioli asks Import the recipe from the site shown, so you can spot a sponsor link. Tap Import recipe to bring it in, or Stay on Facebook to keep browsing.
If an import does not work
When Aioli cannot pull a full recipe, it tells you why, such as a recipe that is behind a subscription, a page that lists many recipes, or a post that is private or age-restricted. For Instagram and Facebook posts you can see but Aioli cannot, tap Sign in to Instagram or Sign in to Facebook and Aioli reads the post the way you see it.
From the screen that explains the problem, you can retry, search the platform you shared from, save a close match when Aioli finds one, or tap Create with AI to start a recipe with Aioli’s AI.
