How to fix or change a recipe with AI Adjust

AI Adjust fixes gaps in a recipe or changes it to fit your request, and shows you every change before anything is saved.

AI Adjust can fill in missing details in a recipe, swap ingredients that clash with your diet, or make a change you describe in your own words. You review the exact changes first, so nothing is saved until you accept it.

Change a recipe with a request

1. Open the recipe.
2. Tap AI Adjust.
3. Type or dictate what you want, such as "make it vegetarian".
4. Review the AI Fix preview, then tap Accept.

If AI Fix cannot make the change in place, Aioli opens chat with your request so you can keep going there.

Swap ingredients that conflict with your diet

If a recipe conflicts with an allergy, restriction or eating style set for you or your household, AI Adjust shows a card at the top. It reads Adjust for allergies for an allergen, or Adjust for dietary needs for anything else. The card lists the ingredients it would replace. Tap it to preview the swaps.

Fix gaps Aioli finds

Aioli flags things it could not fill in or is not sure about when it imports a recipe:

• Missing ingredient quantities.
• Ingredients it could not match to a known item. See How to edit an ingredient on a recipe.
• A servings number that may have been assumed, not confirmed. You can confirm it or set your own number.
