How to edit an ingredient on a recipe

Tap or press and hold an ingredient to fix its name, quantity or preparation in one sheet.

You can correct any ingredient in one place. A single sheet lets you change its name, quantity or preparation without switching screens.

Open the sheet

• Tap an ingredient that has an issue flagged. The sheet opens on the tab that needs attention: Ingredient, Quantity or Preparation.
• Press and hold any ingredient to edit it, even when nothing is wrong.

Fix the ingredient

1. On the Ingredient tab, tap one of the suggested matches, or search the ingredient catalog for the right one.
2. Use the Quantity and Preparation tabs to correct the amount or how it is prepared.
3. Tap Save.

If you do not want to match an ingredient to the catalog, you can keep it exactly as written on the recipe. Aioli does not force a match.

Let Aioli help

Tap AI Fix and Aioli fills in the details it is confident about, without leaving the sheet. Or tap the microphone and describe the change in one sentence, such as “two cups of chopped yellow onion”. Aioli fills in the ingredient, quantity and preparation it can pick out.

Saving

Each saved change is recorded in the recipe’s revision history. If another ingredient is also flagged, the sheet moves to it so you can work through every issue without reopening it.
