Why does Aioli ask to track my activity across other apps?
Aioli asks so it can measure how well its ads work, and you can use every feature whichever way you answer.
Written for the Aioli iPhone app. Last updated
On a later visit after you sign in, your iPhone may ask whether Aioli can track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. This is Apple's standard tracking prompt, the same one other apps show.
What your answer changes
- If you allow: Aioli can use your device identifier to credit an ad you tapped and to measure how well its ads work.
- If you ask the app not to track: Aioli does not collect that identifier. Everything you make, save and cook works the same.
Change your answer later
Your iPhone remembers your answer. To change it, open your iPhone Settings, go to Privacy & Security, then Tracking, and turn Aioli on or off. Aioli does not have its own switch for this.
