How to set up managed profiles for family members
A managed profile stores dietary needs for a household member who does not have their own Aioli account.

Managed profiles let you add dietary needs for people you cook for who will not sign in themselves, such as young children or grandparents. Aioli then checks recipes against their needs too.
Important. Aioli flags are a guide, not medical or allergy advice. If you have a serious allergy, always check the ingredients yourself. See our Food, Nutrition, Allergy, and Safety Disclaimer.
Add a managed profile
- Open Profile, then Your Household.
- Scroll to Managed Profiles and tap Add Profile.
- Enter a Name, up to 50 characters.
- Set their dietary preferences, such as allergens, how they eat, dietary restrictions and ingredients they do not like.
- Tap Add Profile to save.
To change a profile later, tap it, make your edits and tap Save Changes. Any household member can add, edit or remove a managed profile.
How managed profiles are used
- Recipe warnings check each managed profile's needs, just as they do for signed-in members.
- On the recipe filter, each managed profile appears as a Cooking For option. Turn one off to leave out recipes that conflict with that person's needs.
Remove a managed profile
Open the profile and tap Remove Profile, then confirm. Their needs are no longer included in household meal planning.
Important. Always check ingredients and labels. Aioli can help identify potential allergens, but cannot guarantee a recipe is allergen-free.
