Aioli keeps earlier versions of a recipe once you change it. You can look at any of them and put one back if you prefer it.
Open Revision History
- Open the recipe.
- Tap the ⋮ menu.
- Choose Revision History.
Revision History only appears on recipes you own, and only after the recipe has been changed.
Read the list
The newest change is at the top, marked Latest. Each entry says what happened, when, and who did it: You, Aioli AI or System. Entries are named like these:
- Edits saved or Edited for changes you made.
- AI Adjust applied or Auto-fix applied for changes made by AI.
- Ingredients matched when ingredients were matched.
- Restored from history when a version was put back.
- Original import for the recipe as it first came in. It sits at the bottom of the list.
On a long list with several restores, you can switch between Edits and All activity at the top.
Preview and restore a version
- Tap an entry to preview that version.
- Tap Restore at the top right.
- Read the message Restore this version? and tap Restore to confirm.
Aioli replaces your current recipe with that version and takes you back to the recipe.
Common questions
Can I undo a restore?
Yes. Aioli saves your current version to history before it restores an earlier one, so you can open Revision History and restore it again.
Why can't I find Revision History?
It appears only on recipes you own that have been changed since you saved them. A recipe a friend shared with you does not show it.
