How to save a recipe you find in Discover

Tap a recipe in Discover to preview the original page, then tap Save to My Recipes to add it to your library.

Saving a recipe from Discover takes two taps. Open it to preview the original page, then confirm the save and Aioli adds it to your library.

Save a recipe

  1. Tap a recipe card in Discover. Aioli opens the original page inside the app.
  2. Wait a moment while the button at the bottom reads Looking for Recipes...
  3. Tap Save to My Recipes when it appears.
  4. Wait while Aioli pulls in the ingredients, steps and details.

Recipes from social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram show Save to My Recipes straight away.

If Aioli does not spot a recipe

The button changes to Try Saving as Recipe. Tap it, then tap Let’s Try! to attempt the import anyway.

After you save

Depending on how cleanly the recipe came through, Aioli may ask you to review the details first, or open the new recipe right away. If the import does not work, Aioli explains why. How to save a recipe from Facebook, Instagram or TikTok covers what to do next.
