How to view your recipe activity and insights

Open Cooking Habits to see your cooking personality, insights and running totals.

Your cooking story shows what Aioli learns from the recipes you save and cook. You get a short summary of your cooking style, a few insights, and your totals.

Open your cooking story

  1. Open the Profile tab and stay on Habits.
  2. Under Your Kitchen, tap Cooking Habits.
  3. The screen titled Your cooking story opens.

Your insights

What you see depends on how many recipes you have saved.

  • Fewer than 10 saved recipes: a progress bar shows how close you are to unlocking insights.
  • 10 or more recipes: tap Generate insights. This can take up to a minute.
  • Insights ready: you see a cooking personality summary, insight cards, and Recipe Sources with your favorite authors and sites.

Some cards offer a button that opens matching recipes you can save. Cards that start with Want to try… have Sounds good and Not for me buttons. Your answers help Aioli learn what to suggest. If you have set cooking goals, they appear under Tailored to your goals.

Tap Refresh to update your insights with your latest recipes. When you have saved recipes since the last analysis, a banner says new recipes are available. After a refresh, the button waits a few seconds before you can use it again.

Note. The first time you generate insights, Aioli asks for your permission before it sends a sample of your recipes to an AI provider. If you say no, no insights are made and you can try again later.

By the numbers

Below your insights, six totals show your Recipes, Meal Plans, Day streak, Cooked, Collections and Shared.

If you are in a Household, what other members have been doing appears on the same Habits tab under Household Activity.
