Choose which push notifications and emails you get from Aioli in Settings.

Written for the Aioli iPhone app. Last updated

You decide what Aioli sends you. Turn push notifications on or off, pick the kinds you want, and choose whether to get emails with tips.

Turn push notifications on or off

  1. Open the Settings tab and tap Notifications.
  2. Switch Push Notifications on. The first time, your iPhone asks for permission. Tap Allow.
  3. Under Notification Types, switch each kind on or off.

Notification types appear once push notifications are on. Turning the main switch off stops them all.

  • Recipe Reminders: alerts for saved recipes and cooking times.
  • Shopping List Reminders: reminders for your shopping days.
  • New Content Alerts: new features and announcements.
  • Meal Plan Suggestions: weekly meal planning ideas.
  • Household & friends: updates when household members cook, plan or shop, when a friend adds you or sends you a recipe, and when a guest RSVPs to your event or a friend invites you to one.

If notifications are not arriving

If notifications are blocked in your iPhone settings, a Permissions Required banner appears at the top of the screen. Tap Open Settings, then allow notifications for Aioli.

Email

The Email section is separate from push. Switch Email me Aioli tips on to get recipes, product updates and news. Switch it off to unsubscribe. A status line shows Subscribed, Not subscribed or Unsubscribed.

Note. If an email to your address could not be delivered, the switch stays off and the screen asks you to contact support to update your address.

Common questions

Do my setup choices still apply?

The notification choices you made during setup are your starting point. Anything you change in Notifications takes over.
